Birthday Weekend

It’s Friday!!! Yay!! Steve and I are heading to the Metroplex after work tonight for Steve’s birthday weekend. We are going to La Madelines for his birthday dinner, staying at the Sheraton in Arlington, breakfast at Mimi’s Cafe, mountain biking at Joe Pool lake tomorrow, shopping, then dinner with the Rains’ in Granbury. We are so excited! And it gets even better….we signed up for the La Madeline e-newsletters so we both get a free soup or salad (which could be a meal for one) and Steve gets a free birthday pastry. I Pricelined our hotel and got the 3.5 star Sheraton for $50 (normal rate is $110). Then I signed up for Mimi’s Cafe newsletter…and got a free breakfast for both of us!!!! I’m still holding out for some free birthday cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory. Ok so I just had to brag on all my great savings and let yall know the plans. I’ll update on Monday with a complete report on our Metroplex/Mountain Biking weekend
