I think this freezer cooking thing has become an addicting challenge. Today on my lunch, thats right my hour lunch, I whipped up a 1/2 dozen Homemade waffles with wheat germ to freeze. I would have made more but we were out of milk
Steve and I eat whole wheat Eggo waffles every morning for breakfast. I spend atleast $5 a week on waffles!!! Not much compared to a breakfast out…but more than it cost me to make up a few batches and freeze. I think they will turn out well..we will know tomorrow morning. So here are some of my favorite links for freezer cooking stuff. Yes most of them are mom blogs…but I’m a working wife who will probably one day be a mom and would love to have all this stuff figured out before then. Oh and yes I did eat lunch (I don’t skip meals) cleaned up my mess, and I had time left to write this blog….nice! Below is a list of some websites that have provided inspiration and ideas for this

The waffles were wonderful!!! Steve even wants we to make another batch. Next time I’m gonna add flax seed and some blueberries. Once I get low on flour (i have like 3 bags) I’ll get some whole wheat flour and try that too!
Oh Sarah,
I love reading you; you’re so comical and real!
I don’t blog, but I’ve enjoyed my visit to yours via Kristi’s.
You and Steven have a blessed and memorable first Christmas. You know there’s only one first, so make it count!
Love always,
Susan
