Streamline: to alter in order to make more efficient or simple
I have decided to take this idea and run with it. It all started with an organizing magazine and it has just exploded. I figured that I need to weed out some of my junk and excess before May, if for no other reason to not have to move it all! It is really so much fun. As of now I have:
- taken 3 bags of clothes to SaverCity
- donated 6 purses and 12 pair of shoes
- went through years of Budget Travel magazines tearing out only sections about places that I might really go (that was over 36 magazines that I threw away-think of all that room)
- cleaned out my pantry
- organized and albumed 2 years worth of pictures
- cleaned out my email inbox (i had emails from 2004!)
- reorganized my jewlery drawer, and even donated some jewlery that I haven’t touched in years!
- gone through and thrown away old t-shirts and pajamas
- organized favorite recipes
I feel so absolutely productive! It is a great feeling and there is definitely more to come. I have yet to experience any remorse about throwing something away…but I’m sure it will come
Let me know if you have any good ideas on how to reduce clutter, make things simpler and more efficient.

Well, you know I have no ideas for de-cluttering, but I do want to congratulate you on your Mission Organization success. I’m still a little bit in shock that you actually threw out old pj’s and t-shirts….I’m guessing the grey Army Engineers t-shirt wasn’t one of them, though.
I’m the queen of throwing stuff away, I move too much to keep anything I don’t use. Way to go!
So I am curious about the grey Army engineers t-shirt also–did it hit the trash can?
And congratulations to you–that is fantastic to attempt Mission Organization–what a good way to start married life. I applaud you.
Love ya lots–look forward to seeing you this weekend.
